Art aficionados, listen up! Our neighbor Ridgway is the place to be this weekend as the Ridgway Rendezvous Arts & Crafts Festival makes its triumphant return for the 34th time. This show brings together artists and patrons looking to share the universal language of art through a well-organized show intended to showcase the talents of creative individuals.
Part of the Ridgway Rendezvous Arts & Crafts Festival includes a juried show and you can expect to see thousands of people exploring the spacious town park checking out art, sharing ideas, or making new friends. Besides the art, the festival also includes live musical performances held throughout the day plus attractions that the children will enjoy. While the event is free to attend, proceeds from the festival will benefit the Weehawken Creative Arts Youth Art Programs.
For those of you that have never been to Ridgway. it’s located at the junction of Highways 550 and 62, just a couple of miles from Ouray so you won’t need to travel too far to enjoy the event. The festivities begin at 9 am this Saturday at Ridgway Hartwell “Town” Park.
