The stresses of the workday coupled with the blazing heat of the summer season mean most of us could use a bit of unwinding after the day is almost over. If you have a good sense of humor and are a fan of sketch comedy, take some time to visit the Sherbino next Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to check out the “Just Horsin’ Around” during Sherbino Night Live.
If you’ve ever watched an episode of Saturday Night Live, you’ll more than likely enjoy what’s in store. The show will poke fun at anything that’s funny, including a focus on why Ridgway is so beloved. The cast will also celebrate classic sketch comedy by performing some of their favorites.
For those unfamiliar with sketch comedy, it consists of a series of short scenes known as “sketches”, which can be as short as a minute or as long as ten minutes. These sketches are performed by a group of comic actors or comedians on stage but they can also be performed on mediums like radio and television.
The Sherbino Theater doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are only $12 if you purchase advance or you can pay $15 at the door.
