Halloween in Ouray

Halloween will be taking place in just a few days, so we’ve compiled a list of some of the fun things you can do in the Ouray area when staying at Ouray lodging this Halloween! Enjoy the crisp fall air, beautiful scenery with changing colors, and fun for multiple age groups. Don’t forget to take a look at our upcoming renovation of our Ouray Colorado Hot Springs – which will open at the end of the year – while you’re here!

Friday, October 29, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, catch the Tomfoolery Outdoors Spooky Spirit Bike Ride. in Montrose. Decorate your bike and ride in costume while enjoying fall drinks and food! The ride will be casual and acceptable for any skill level. There will also be a bonfire! Admission to the event is free, but donations are welcome.

On Saturday, October 30, enjoy the KOTO Radio and Telluride Arts’ 46th annual KOTO Halloween Bash at the Telluride Transfer Warehouse. From 5 pm to 9 pm, you can hear live music from Cousin Curtiss and Joint Point, with a costume contest scheduled for 6:45 pm. Cash prizes will be given to the top three contest winners.

The Tomfoolery Outdoors Witchy Paddle will be taking place at Chipeta Lake in Montrose and is suitable for all skill levels of paddling and all ages (must be able to swim).
