If you’re a fan of country music and plan to be staying in Ouray or the neighboring area, singer-songwriter Jeremy Pinnell may be worth checking out. The independent musician and Kentucky native is currently touring in support of his critically acclaimed album OH/KY and will be performing at Edgewater Brewery in Grand Junction at 6 pm next Thursday. Grand Junction is barely a two hour drive from Ouray.
If you prefer something closer to the Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs, Bill Bartley will be performing some traditional country dance at the Grand Junction Senior Center from 7-10 pm tomorrow. This event is open to people of all ages and anyone age twelve and under will be admitted free. Admission is only $5 for everyone else.
Also happening at Edgewater Brewery tomorrow is the Radio Daze Celebration from 3-9 pm. Several local acts will be performing including Zac Grant, Snootch, Thomasina Russell and Friends, and more. Besides the live performances there will also be a celebration raffle and plenty of beer to drink.
