The workday stress combined with the frigid winter temperatures means most of us could probably go for unwinding once the day is close to over. If you like to laugh and enjoy watching sketch comedy, you may want to head over to the Sherbino this weekend to check out the “It’s All Fun and Games Until…” comedy show during Sherbino Night Live.
If you have ever caught an episode or a clip of Saturday Night Live, you’re bound to have a good time at the Sherbino. The show will focus on anything funny, while also reinforcing why Ridgway is highly regarded. The cast will also honor classic sketch comedy with some of their classics performed.
In case you’ve yet to experience sketch comedy, it is comprised of several short scenes known as “sketches”, which can range from a minute to about ten minutes. Such sketches are performed on stage by a group of comedic actors or comedians but can be done on mediums such as radio and television as well.
The Sherbino Theater will open at 7:00 pm and the show kicks off at 7:30 pm. Tickets are only $15 if bought in advance or you can pay $18 at the door.
