Erie Hot Air Balloon Launch
Dates: May 21-22
Location: Downtown and Coal Creek Park
Launch: Inflating begins at 6:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday
Admission: Free
This event includes a petting zoo, games, and beer garden.
Telluride Hot Air Balloon Festival
Dates: June 3-5
Location: Telluride Town Park
Launch: 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning
Admission: Free
This event includes breakfast vendors and features Glow on Main Street on Saturday night.
Frederick In Flight
Dates: June 25-26
Location: Centennial Park
Launch: 6 a.m. balloon lifts both Saturday and Sunday
Admission: Free
This event includes breakfast vendors both mornings and features Balloon Bash on Saturday night.
Moffat County Balloon Festival
Dates: Aug. 5-7
Location: Loudy-Simpson Park (1006 S. Ranney St., Craig)
Launch: Each morning on all festival days
Admission: Free
This event includes the Colorado Cruiser Classic Car Show, as well as a cardboard boat regatta, bounce house, food vendors, and arts & crafts booths.
