Kevin Torres, a “Unique 2 Colorado” reporter for Fox 31 Denver, recently published his top five choices for best Buffalo wings in all of Colorado. On this list is none other than Ouray Brewery, located just around the corner from us on Main Street. While Torres didn’t rank our neighbor as #1, it is quite an honor just to be included in the list.
He writes that while he doesn’t visit Ouray very often, whenever he does, he makes it a point to stop for a bite at the brewery. According to him, the wings are
“Tossed perfectly in hot sauce and served with either bleu cheese or ranch dip.” The common factor of his decision to include an establishment seems to be based on its sauce. The other places were Willy’s Wings in Morrison at #1, Woody’s Wings in Aurora at #2, Sports Column in downtown Denver or “LoDo” as it is known locally, at #3, and finally Glenwood Canyon Brewpub in Glenwood Springs comes in at #4.
