Several of the hot springs in Colorado have begun reopening following COVID-19 closures, though this year’s experience of a relaxing soak might not be quite the same experience as in the past. Let’s briefly look at a few of the already open hot springs and/or resorts for dipping in Ouray and the nearby area.
We’ll begin with our own Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs. We’re excited to announce that we’ve implemented measures to allow limited access to the pool and hot tubs while still encouraging social distancing. Our relaxing, invigorating Sage Spa is also open for business though you’ll need to make an appointment if you wish to enjoy its services.
If you’d like to explore beyond Twin Peaks, you’ll be pleased to know that the Ouray Hot Springs Pool is expected to reopen its doors on the 16th. One of Ouray’s oldest sights, the attraction received a major facelift, and today, it is packed with different pools for everyone, including splash pools for the little one and cooler ones for those that want a refreshing dip from the warm sunshine.
This update is provided by Twins Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs. Our Ouray Colorado lodging, full-service hotel has seven different room types including rooms for couples or families with children. Our amenities include hot springs, a free breakfast, spectacular vistas of the mountains, and much more.
