If you haven’t yet visited, the Ridgway Farmers Market is a fantastic opportunity to support farmers, local agriculture, and small businesses. The market is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until October 14, 2022.
The Ridgway Farmers Market offers local fruits, vegetables, flowers, and plants, along with a variety of sustainable meats, cheeses, and eggs. There is also a wide selection of baked goods and tasty treats, as well as natural body care, artisan crafts and more! Their weekly vendor rotation makes each market a unique experience. Visitors passing through the area and Ridgway locals alike will find something to appreciate at the market.
To lessen the environmental impact, please consider bringing your own bags to the market.
Jane Bennett founded the Ridgway Farmers Market 19 years ago. Its original purpose was to promote agriculture on Colorado’s Western Slope. The inaugural market debuted at the Ridgway County Fairgrounds on July 9, 2000. The market moved to Ridgway’s Hartwell Park in 2012, where it has remained.
