Get Ready for Some Labor Day Weekend Rodeo

The long weekend is upon us, what plans do you have in store? If you have yet to experience the Ouray County Fair & Rodeo, now is your chance to enjoy this annual tradition. Held at the Ouray County Fairgrounds, the rodeo is a non-profit organization focused on preserving the tradition of ranching by offering scholarships and education-focused financial support to children in the local area. The rodeo is held alongside the county fair.

As is the case every year, there are plenty of events to look forward to during the Ouray County Fair & Rodeo. Check out the Break-Away Roping for cowboys and cowgirls or the Junior Breakaway. Perhaps you’d be interested in Mounted Team Roping or Open Team Roping.

The Ouray County Fair & Rodeo begins on Labor Day, September 1st through the 2nd.

No matter what you decide to do, we hope you have a great time during the Labor Day weekend. If you need somewhere to stay, call us or visit our website to see what options we may have available. We’d love for you to be our guest.
