For those wishing to enjoy the outdoors again, the Colorado governor recently announced a new executive order somewhat loosening restrictions on outdoor activities. Families with young children, for example, will be able to able to visit playgrounds again. Those that like to go swimming can also take a dip again. However, restrictions are in place. Playgrounds are limited to a maximum of ten people at a time while pools must operate at fifty percent capacity.
In other news, short-term rentals are also reopening with certain guidelines, including the steps necessary steps required to clean and disinfect. One rule that remains in place during various iterations of the state’s orders – the 10-person limit on mass gatherings – remains in place. While other orders have allowed activities to resume, including one allowing sports camps for children to start with a maximum of 25 participants, this rule remains in effect across Colorado.
There is one rule that isn’t seeing any changes despite the new executive order: the ten-person limit on large gatherings. While other orders are allowing activities to return to a sense of normalcy, the limit is still in effect.
