Did you know that in Japan, it’s considered a national pastime to relax in a hot spring? People have been doing it for thousands of years, and it may just be a reason why Asians always seem to have impeccable complexions.
Hot springs are cherished in many parts of the world beyond Japan thanks to their therapeutic benefits. Boosting metabolism, improving blood flow and circulation, mineral absorption, spending some time in a hot spring may just do a body good.
While research has yet to officially prove it, it’s believed that bathing in hot springs may yield health benefits thanks to the various minerals found within them. Whether that’s ultimately proved true remains to be seen, but there is little denying that after a long, stressful day, relaxing in a hot spring feels absolutely heavenly. For joint pain or achy muscles, you probably already know that a soak in hot water can significantly ease the pain.
Thankfully you won’t need to search far to find hot springs as we have some available to our guests right here at Twins Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs. They are open at all hours of the day, but children are not permitted between the hours of 10 pm to 8 am.
